Worship Committee

Worship.JPG

Our hope as a committee is that worship services at St Andrew’s will be characterized by depth and simplicity that engages the head and heart to inspire both an awe and intimacy with our triune God.

We aim to employ a variety of musical forms and expressions from both the past and the present. In normal days, we have two services, at 8.30 am -  we are traditional, using the pipe organ, piano and other musical instruments like violin and others when available. We sing mostly hymns from the hymnal. At 11.00 am – we are contemporary in style, we use the songs of worship and praise and we are bless with musicians who play the Guitars, drums, keyboards, piano, and other musical instruments.

We value a public worship form that communicates the supremacy of God in all of life, it will focus on God. The form may vary from week to week as long as God continues to meet us in worship. It will encourage an expectancy and eagerness for God to draw near to us in reviving and renewing power.
