Church Camp 2008
Living out God's purpose
Praise be to our God. The long awaited Church
Camp is here – 25th -27th October 2008! The
last church camp was held more than 7 years
ago. In line with St Andrew’s recent effort at
getting the whole church to study Rick Warren’s
Purpose Driven Life, it is befitting for the theme of
this year’s camp to be LIVING OUT GOD’S
PURPOSE. This is a golden opportunity for the
whole church to work this out by coming to stay
together, worship together, play together, eat
together and study together His Word for us.
EVERYTHING TOGETHER !

For this year’s campsite, the organizing
committee has selected The Swiss-Garden
Resort & Spa in Kuantan, Pahang, located on the
silky white sand beach facing the South China
Sea and yet not too far away - 2 1/2 hour’s drive
from KL. This lovely hotel has been refurbished
and offers amenities for everyone young and old
such as a swimming pool, jacuzzi, spa & gym,
tennis court, indoor pool table, bicycle rental and
facilities for telematch and beach sports.
Being a family camp, we cater for the needs of
different age group. Apart from Pastor Ooi Chin
Aik, addressing the adults and parents,
Mr Steven Low, camp youth pastor, will take care
of the youths while Ms Tessie Siew, camp
children pastor, will organize activities for the
pre-teen children. We rejoice that you can join us
to study God’s word and have fun together.
